Second Genome partners with life sciences researchers worldwide to unlock the promise of the microbiome. Our goal is to work together to apply discoveries to the bedside and impact patient care. The Second Genome team is comprised of veterans of the life science and microbiome research market, and includes strong domain expertise in bringing molecular diagnostics and therapeutics to market.

As part of research and validation efforts, we are actively engaged in collaborations with academic and commercial researchers who have completed or are initiating intervention studies for Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and diarrheal disorders.  Second Genome is interested in exploring partnerships with therapeutic manufacturers and academic researchers with patient and sample access who are interested in this approach.
